Fourth Grade Guide
GATE Information
Fourth grade gifted students are expected to meet high academic standards. Differentiated lessons encourage students to develop critical thinking skills that enable them to analyze and synthesize information and evaluate ideas. Students are encouraged to complete in-depth research, apply problem-solving skills to real-life situations, choose projects from teacher-created lists, design their own projects, and pursue topics of interest to them. Their findings are presented in various formats including essays, publications, artistic projects, and multi-media presentations.
